The windiest race ever. It was a race to remember. Winds gusting to 40
knots and the swells were definitely in the way. For those who ventured out onto the
course, it was a sample of what the Hawaiian nationals were probably like. Z was on a 5.5 Aerotech Slalom sail with a
9'2" ASD Slalom and a 38cm Techonics. M9 carried a 6.6 Neil Pryde Race on a Mike's
Lab Slalom.
Only 7 racers ventured out into those Gorge like conditions. We all have
short boards in our garages. Next time it blows like that, bring it with you. My kind of
day!
